Originally from New York, Benjamin is an MBA-trained expert in marketing and brand strategy to the travel, tourism, and lifestyle spaces. His focus is on large-scale brand projects for both the public and private sector, with experience ranging from cruise lines to city branding to multi-use property development marketing.

Benjamin strongly adheres to philosophies around placemaking and placebranding, frameworks that help guide destinations not just to an attractive logo or slogan, but to a broader conceptual sentiment that attracts visitors and satisfies them across a constellation of emotional, physical, spiritual, familial, and other needs.

He also has a sub-focus on organizational culture, believing firmly in the global nature of a brand, including not just its outward manifestation to clients and customers but also how employees and other stakeholders participate in and amplify the brand and marketing experience. This often takes the form of detailed training for customer-facing employees as well as internal marketing collateral such as brand books.

Operationally, Benjamin advocates for the digitization of the marketing process, including the marriage of data analytics and artificial intelligence to improve marketing ROI. He also closely follows trends in the most innovative inbound and outbound marketing strategies in order to make best-practice recommendations for clients.

Prior to joining THR, Benjamin was the International Director and a senior brand strategist at Los Angeles-based BrandCulture, responsible for strategic partnerships and business development for an economic-development MICE project for the city of Barcelona, and a strategy consultant at Delta Partners Group in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Barcelona.
